Silversea’s second Nova Class vessel will be identical to sister ship Silver Nova, launched in 2023. Its pool deck will feature an asymmetrical design, with the pool facing the ocean, and all accommodations will be balcony suites with Silversea’s signature butler service in every category. The popular Salt And Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) culinary program will focus on regional cuisine through a specialty restaurant, cocktail bar, cooking classes, and a Chef’s Table experience. The Otivm Spa will offer decadent treatments and luxurious spa experiences extending into the guest suites through soothing bath amenities, fragrances, and in-suite service of spa cuisine. We’re still eagerly awaiting more details on Silver Ray, which will continue to deliver Silversea’s all-inclusive, ultra-luxury experience to her guests.

Ritz-Carlton Ilma
Launch Date: September 2, 2024
Tonnage: 46,750
Berths: 448
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection debuted in 2022 with its first superyacht – the 624-foot Evrima, designed for 298 guests. Coming in at 790 feet and accommodating 448 guests, Ilma will be slightly larger than her sister but promises to deliver the same exemplary Ritz-Carlton service in a relaxed private yacht atmosphere. Its all-balcony and all-suite accommodations – including two new suite categories – will be one of the most spacious in the industry (the smallest is 480 square feet, and the largest is more than 1,000 square feet), and all with personal concierge service.
Seven dining venues will range from casual poolside to exclusive dinners served in a private enclave, plus a 24-hour in-suite dining service will feature global cuisine made with the finest ingredients. Ilma will also have an indulgent Ritz-Carlton Spa, a marina with watersports equipment, a fitness studio, and two pools, including one with an infinity-edge.

Viking Vela
Launch Date: December 2024
Tonnage: 54,300
Berths: 998
The tenth ship for Viking Ocean Cruises will be slightly larger than her previous nine sister ships, which only carry 930 guests. However, from what we can see from comparing deck plans (since no specific details have been announced), the only difference will be a slightly larger size of the public areas and more cabins and suites. Viking Vela will continue Viking’s 18+ adults-only policy, focusing on culinary experiences with the Chef’s Table, Manfredi’s Italian restaurant, cooking classes, in-depth destination lectures in The Theater, and spa and wellness in the revitalizing Nordic Spa. All staterooms will feature private balconies, and there will be ten penthouse and suite categories for guests seeking upscale accommodations.
