As beautiful as Cinderella in fairytales is the real-life 164-foot superyacht Cinderella Noel IV by Heesen. The Dutch yard launched the motoryacht, originally known as YN 20150 or Project Oslo24, in the Netherlands, with delivery scheduled for 2024. Commissioned by an experienced yacht connoisseur, Heesen’s award-winning 50-meter steel series comes to life with the design by Clifford Denn in the form of a bespoke design that fuses a luxurious lifestyle with a fondness for the sea.
His experience with ships resulted in the addition of a second steering position on the flybridge and a foldable mast that allows the vessel to pass beneath bridges (something Jeff Bezos should have done with sailing yacht Koru). The skipper also opted for a hybrid propulsion system, nudging Heesen to develop its first, leading to cleaner cruising. The invested owner opted for the Smart custom yacht and was involved in every detail, from reinforced insulation for northern navigation to crew areas tailored to a highly trained and family-oriented team.
Cinderella Noel IV is built with the idea of spending long durations at sea, and the details depict a deep understanding of life at sea. “Heesen’s Smart Custom solution represented the perfect starting point for an experienced yachtsman to concentrate on the important details for him and his family,” the owner’s representative, Stefan Zucker, said in a statement. “Cinderella Noel IV is a testament to Heesen’s intelligent approach, allowing this family to create their dream machine with the certainty of a result that would have taken considerably more time and cost to build individually without being sufficiently tested.”
The subtle interiors are a reflection of the owner’s time spent at sea, with leather panels crafted by Foglizzo Atelier flanked with antique sea charts of the owner’s favorite cruising spots. The neutral interiors are contrasted with rich wood flooring, making for a welcoming environment.
It is the brainchild of Luca Dini Design and Architecture and Heesen’s in-house engineering team. Amenities of this sea-faring masterpiece include a glass-bottomed pool, an outdoor fire pit, and multiple places to unwind and enjoy the picturesque vistas.
