When all ships look spectacular and are technologically advanced and lavish, the only way to stand out is by improving. Perfection can be improved, and proof lies in what will be known, per the shipbuilder, the most advanced vessel to date, the Sialia 80 Explorer. Developed in collaboration with Vripack, renderings of the Sialia 80 Explorer yacht are divulged, and the first impression is promising. This sleek, environmentally conscious ship holds the capacity to travel the world without so much as a ‘purr.’

It is powered by state-of-the-art electric propellers, the AMPROS propulsion system tailored for electric yachts. The vessel, built out of high-grade marine-type aluminum, is 90 ft long and 27 ft wide. “We strongly believe that a holistic approach to yacht design leads to a satisfying experience. Proper naval architecture accommodates the exciting exterior aesthetics and playful layout and ensures efficient and safe cruising,” explained Joost Mertens, Fleet & Sales Manager at Vripack.

While its USP is avant-garde technology, it also offers utmost comfort in luxurious settings. Eight guests can comfortably sail and sleep in four guest cabins. They are looked after by a crew of 2 who are accommodated in crew berths.

The master cabin is stately and offers direct access to the water and beach club. Large groups can assemble on the multi-level open main deck. The presence of ultra-low energy glass door display systems lend the interiors a transparency that adds light and makes the space airy.

On the exterior, the ship looks like a charging alligator with a unique geometric diamond pattern, along with expansive mullion-less windows. “While eco-friendly yachting is still a niche, progress toward cleaner technologies is inevitable,” said Sialia Yachts co-founder and CEO Stanislav Szadkowski. “Sialia 80 Explorer is designed to […] to thrive in a variety of environmental conditions, traveling to some of the world’s most remote locations in silence and with minimal environmental impact.”

The advanced yacht indeed impresses with stellar performance owing to twin 400 kW electric motors, and a battery capacity of 800 KWh. The Sialia 80 Explorer achieves speeds of over 11 knots and has a near continent cruising range of 3,000 miles.
