The Park City Police Department in early April received at least two reports involving lost or stolen property, including a luxury watch.
On Thursday, April 4, at 7:35 p.m., someone reported a missing purse on Lowell Avenue. The police were told the purse was stolen, apparently from a bathroom stall. It was left there “and within minutes it was gone,” the police were told. The purse disappeared 45 minutes prior to the report to the police.
The previous day, Wednesday, April 3, someone reported losing a Rolex watch as they skied and an insurance company required a police report about the loss. The case was logged on Deer Valley Drive at 12:33 p.m.

On Sunday, April 7, at 11:50 p.m., a suspected drunken driving case was reported on S.R. 248. Public police logs did not provide details.
The police at 8:57 p.m. responded to a report on Main Street involving a man who was suspected to be intoxicated and “harassing people and blocking the doors” of a building, according to public police logs. The person was described as white, tall, “older” and wearing a ski cap. The police logged the case as suspected disorderly conduct.
The department at 4:20 p.m. received information about what was described as a “verbal altercation” on Royal Street involving contractors and the staff at a business. The logs described the case as a business assist, but they did not provide details about the dispute.
Someone on Aerie Drive contacted the police at 11:41 a.m. indicating they received an alarm notifying them glass was broken. The person was not sure what glass may have been broken.
The police at 6:11 a.m. received information about the scent of some sort of gas in a garage on Deer Valley Drive. The scent was “strong” and could also be smelled in a lobby, the police were told. The police logged the case as a utility issue.
A fight was reported on Main Street at 12:12 a.m. Public police logs did not provide details.
On Saturday, April 6, at 1:41 p.m., the police received a complaint that involved a suspected scam involving an account with a utility. The person who contacted the police indicated they received a call informing them the power would be turned off, but the utility told the person “they would not call her like that,” according to police logs. The police described the circumstances as suspicious.
The driver of a shuttle bus contacted the police at 10:26 a.m. saying he vehicle was “stuck in the snow” and needed a “push.” Department logs indicated passersby were assisting, but the person “thinks he needs an officer.”
The police at 3:06 a.m. reported a suspected trespassing case at the Old Town transit center. The person was apparently seen on a lower level.
On Friday, April 5, at 3:17 p.m., The Police Department received a complaint from the Park City Library from someone who was using a private room. The police were told “an individual came into the private room he was in and unplugged” the person’s computer. The police logged the case as suspected disorderly conduct.
The police at 2:43 p.m. were called to American Saddler Drive about construction. The crews were leaving, but there was “a lot of gravel” still there. It was not clear from public police logs where the gravel was located. The police described the case as a citizen complaint.
On Thursday, April 4, at 8:52 p.m., the police were told of two vehicles occupying space in what was described as a no-parking zone along Golden Way. There was “blasting music” from the vehicles, the police were told.
The Police Department at 9:12 a.m. received a complaint involving a reported 13 trucks or cars “blocking the road completely” in the area of the intersection of Empire Avenue and 10th Street. The person who contacted the police indicated it was “insane.” The person found one of the drivers to move a truck, the police were told.
On Wednesday, April 3, at 9:53 p.m., the police were informed of someone sleeping in a van in a garage on Shadow Ridge Road. The vehicle had Idaho license plates, the police were told. The department said the circumstances were suspicious.
A rock or rocks reportedly slid into the road somewhere along Marsac Avenue at 9:41 p.m. The police said the incident created a traffic hazard.
The Police Department at 3:17 p.m. received information about a hit-and-run accident on Lowell Avenue. The accident caused damage to the front of the person’s vehicle, the police were told. The person did not see the accident.
On Tuesday, April 2, at 11:20 p.m., the police were told of up to five people, described as homeless, at the Old Town transit center. The police logged the case as suspected vagrancy.
A car alarm reportedly sounded in the area of Bonanza Drive and Prospector Avenue in the 3 p.m. hour and continued for longer than 10 minutes. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
On Monday, April 1, at 10:31 p.m., two vehicles were reported to be blocking a driveway on Woodside Avenue.
