A large master suite comes with balcony access, walk-through designer robes and an ensuite with double shower and freestanding bath with city views.
“It is very rare to get such a quality penthouse with panoramic views of Melbourne, to come to the market with four bedrooms and four bathrooms,” Ms Nido said.
The luxury complex also comes with a 24/7 concierge, gym, pool and a dog washing service.
While Mr Boyd is offloading the luxury Melbourne bolthole, the Perth-based multimillionaire retains his west coast base in the blue-chip Perth suburb Dalkeith.
According to property records, Mr Boyd and his wife, Donna, paid $9.15 million for the property overlooking the Swan River in 1999.
Mr Boyd placed 169th on last year’s AFR Rich list, with an estimated wealth of $823 million, partially down to his 15 million-plus shares in pathology giant Sonic Healthcare.
Mr Boyd helped turn the healthcare giant around, having paid $4 million for a 23 per cent stake in 1992.
Mr Boyd went on to found patient booking and remote prescribing platform Jayex Healthcare in 2004, and owns 17.5 per cent of Silex Systems, which uses lasers to enrich uranium.
E-commerce boss trades Toorak for Point Piper
It comes as little surprise that the “for sale” sign has gone up on the Toorak home of co-founder of marketing technology company Rokt, Ben Voltz and his wife, Briana.
The listing follows news the pair recently splashed about $50 million to buy in Sydney’s Point Piper.
Now, their Hamptons-style family home on Toorak Road has arrived on the market guiding $7 million to $7.7 million, after they emerged as the buyer’s of Coolmore Australia boss Tom Magnier’s eastern suburbs home, Notrella.
Featuring landscaped gardens by the City Gardener with heated swimming pool, the Voltz’s just-listed property offers a well-located family home, according to listing agent RT Edgar’s Antoinette Nido.
“It’s north facing with pool and sits in the school belt between Scotch College, St Kevin’s and St Catherine’s, and is right near the Kooyong Village,” Ms Nido said.
The couple paid $5.6 million for the four-bedroom, three-bathroom 1920s residence in 2017.
