Auburn police were dispatched on Jan. 7 after receiving a report at approximately 5:34 p.m. of a robbery involving firearms at a business in Auburn that had occurred about two hours previously. According to the department’s public information log, a robbery occurred in the 1100 block of Outlet Collection Way Southwest at a business. The department’s log listed $4,000 in gold jewelry as stolen in the incident. The incident involved six victims, including the business robbed.

Robbery with weapon

Auburn police were dispatched on Jan. 8 after receiving a report at approximately 2:24 a.m. regarding a robbery involving an unidentified weapon in Auburn. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested a man for robbery in the 200 block of 6th Street Southeast. Police booked the man on a charge of robbery in the first degree and recovered stolen items including a cellphone, vehicle keys and a credit card. The department’s log listed a single victim in the incident.

Aggravated assault

Auburn police were dispatched on Jan. 3 after receiving a report of an aggravated assault at approximately 10:51 p.m. According to the department’s public information log, a man was assaulted in the 800 block of F Street Southeast. Investigators identified two rocks as evidence in the incident. The log listed a woman as a suspect.

Residential shooting

Auburn police were dispatched on Jan. 3 after receiving a report at approximately 6:11 a.m. regarding a weapons offense at a residence in Auburn. According to the department’s public information log, a shooting occurred in the 800 block of 23rd Street Southeast. The department’s log listed damage to glass windows, interior walls, and decorations in the shooting. Investigators listed a bullet found as evidence. The department’s log listed four victims in the incident and no suspects.
