In the ever-evolving world of luxury horology, Rolex has long been synonymous with precision, elegance, and unparalleled craftsmanship. The 2024 collection is no exception, representing a masterclass in harmonious contrasts that injects new levels of glamour and excitement into the brand’s iconic performance watches.

In particular, this collection is rich in unique combinations of materials, colours, and textures, underscoring Rolex’s dedication to constantly reawakening watchmaking emotions while maintaining uncompromising quality in every detail. By blending tradition with innovation, and performance with preciousness, Rolex’s latest creations play with contrasts to achieve a harmonious balance that delights the senses.

Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II

The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II, a cornerstone of Rolex’s legacy, sees a striking transformation in 2024. This model, now presented in Oystersteel, features a Cerachrom bezel insert in grey and black ceramic for the first time. The subtle contrast between these muted tones evokes the natural alternation of day and night, enhancing the model’s timeless elegance. At its core, the GMT-Master II celebrates its original identity by being exclusively available in steel, echoing the nostalgia of its launch.

Two versions of this iconic timepiece are available, offering either an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet to suit different tastes. The black lacquer dial, inscribed with “GMT-Master II” in green, is complemented by a 24-hour hand in the same hue. This hand, a symbol of global connections, serves as a beacon and reminds the wearer of the memories that each journey evokes. The GMT-Master II is more than a dual-time watch; it is a tribute to the wanderlust and the memories we create as we explore the world.

Oyster Perpetual Day-Date

The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date collection expands with new models that highlight Rolex’s enduring quest for excellence in even the smallest details. The Day-Date 40 introduces two stunning versions. The first, crafted in its signature Everose gold, features a slate ombre dial that transitions delicately from light at the centre to darkness at the edge. This symphony of shades is achieved through an exceptionally precise manufacturing process, creating a visual masterpiece on the wrist.

The second version, in white gold, boasts a pearlised white mother-of-pearl dial, marking a first for the Day-Date 40. This dial’s iridescent reflections and irregular texture evoke the beauty of overlapping clouds, enhanced by 10 baguette-cut diamond hour markers that add a touch of refined elegance.

The Day-Date 36 also sees two new additions. The first, in yellow gold, features a white lacquer dial with faceted, deconstructed Roman numerals and faceted index hour markers — elements previously exclusive to the Day-Date 40. The second, in Everose gold, presents a deep blue-green dial, illuminated by a bezel set with 60 trapeze-cut diamonds. This bezel, making its debut on a gold Day-Date 36, adds a new layer of glamour to this timeless piece.

Perpetual 1908

The Perpetual 1908 collection introduces a new model in platinum, featuring an ice blue dial — a hue reserved exclusively for Rolex watches in this prestigious metal. The guilloche dial, with its rice-grain motif, captures and reflects light in a dance of intricate patterns, showcasing Rolex’s mastery of traditional watchmaking techniques.

The use of guillochage, or engine turning, to sculpt geometric patterns into the dial surface is a nod to traditional craftsmanship, while the rosette-like design centred on the small seconds counter at 6 o’clock gives the watch a distinctive personality. The Perpetual 1908 is a visual masterpiece, from its scintillating dial to the fine fluting of the bezel and the filet saute with guilloche crimped pattern around the minute track. This timepiece exemplifies Rolex’s ability to blend elegance with precision, creating a watch that is both a work of art and a marvel of engineering.

Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea

Rolex’s new Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea, the first deep-sea diver’s watch crafted in yellow gold, represents a groundbreaking combination of materials and shades. This model features a striking blue dial and an innovative use of ceramic and RLX titanium, exemplifying Rolex’s expertise in materials science.

The blue ceramic compression ring, a technical innovation, forms part of the Ringlock system, enabling the watch to withstand the immense pressures of deep-sea diving. The helium escape valve and the case back, both made from RLX titanium, enhance the watch’s durability. The harmonious colour scheme of the dial, bezel insert, and compression ring, paired with the yellow gold case and Oyster bracelet, creates a timepiece that is both majestic and innovative. The new Deepsea model is engineered to shine even in the darkest depths of the ocean, combining technical prowess with aesthetic brilliance.

Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona

The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, an icon in Rolex’s collection, sees two new versions that highlight the brand’s expertise in gem-setting and dial-making. These timepieces, crafted from white gold, feature dials made from natural mother-of-pearl in contrasting white and black. The first watch has a white dial with black counters, while the second reverses this colour scheme. The strength of the contrast and the depth of the reflections are the result of a meticulous material selection process.

Each watch is adorned with a bezel set with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds, adding a touch of dazzle to the precision timepiece. The watches are fitted with bracelets that match the hue of the counters: an Oysterflex bracelet for the watch with black counters, and an Oyster bracelet for the version with white counters. These new Cosmograph Daytona models continue the legacy of this iconic watch, embodying the potential for perpetual reinvention and the harmony of contrasts.

The sophisticated and distinguished Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, now available in Everose or yellow gold, features a Jubilee bracelet that adds a new dimension of elegance and refinement. Designed for the modern traveller, the Sky-Dweller combines functionality with style, allowing wearers to quickly find their bearings wherever they are.

The Jubilee bracelet, with its smaller polished centre links and larger satin-finished outer links, creates a wealth of reflections, enhancing the watch’s aesthetic appeal. The version in Everose gold is paired with a slate dial, while the yellow gold version features an intense white dial. The ceramic inserts within the links, designed by Rolex, enhance the bracelet’s longevity and flexibility, ensuring a comfortable fit on the wrist. This new Sky-Dweller model is a testament to Rolex’s ability to combine technical sophistication with exquisite design, creating a timepiece that is as practical as it is beautiful.
