Rolls-Royce Elevates Luxury with the Launch of Cullinan Series II

Goodwood, West Sussex—On May 7, 2024, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced the release of two new iterations of its flagship SUV, the Cullinan Series II and the Black Badge Cullinan Series II. These latest models represent a bold evolution in super-luxury SUVs, blending state-of-the-art technology with meticulous craftsmanship.

The Cullinan Series II, described by Rolls-Royce as the most significant evolution since its introduction in 2018, offers refined aesthetic and technical upgrades tailored to the modern luxury consumer. “Cullinan Series II is a direct response to changing luxury codes and our clients’ evolving needs,” said Chris Brownridge, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The vehicle integrates the new SPIRIT digital interface and the Whispers private members app, enhancing both driver and passenger experiences.

Distinguishing the Cullinan Series II are its sophisticated exterior lines and an interior that showcases innovative materials like the new Duality Twill, made from bamboo fibers. The vehicle’s design includes a novel Placed Perforation pattern in the seating, inspired by the clouds over Goodwood, home of Rolls-Royce.

Parallel to this, the Black Badge Cullinan Series II emerges as a darker, more assertive variant aimed at the most daring clientele. It boasts improved performance with a 600 hp, 6.75-litre V12 engine and a distinctive aesthetic characterized by dark chrome elements and an illuminated Pantheon grille. “Black Badge Cullinan Series II is for those who demand a more visceral expression of their individuality,” explained Anders Warming, the company’s Design Director.

Both versions feature groundbreaking updates, such as the new Clock Cabinet vitrine incorporating the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, bringing a touch of elegance to the dashboard. In a first for Cullinan, the Series II also features an Illuminated Fascia with an integrated Cityscape graphic, adding a layer of digital craftsmanship.
