The Netherlands is home to some of the world’s top maritime companies, with the local shipbuilders specializing in large superyachts. With a strong reputation thanks to high quality standards and timely deliveries, the Dutch maritime industry is second only to Italy in Europe, and global demand for Dutch superyachts is steadily growing.
This spectacular superyacht is part of the Zoeterwoude-based yard’s popular Mulder ThirtySix series and is one of the most successful vessels in its size range. Impressively, thanks to its excellent sailing characteristics, high level of build quality, and intelligent layout, it was named the winner of the 2024 World Superyacht Award in the Semi-Displacement or Planning Motor Yachts 35-39.9m category.
Described by the judges as “truly impressive,” Seaflower stands out with a slender, imposing silhouette with a plumb bow and streamlined styling, flawless interior lounges, and luxuriously appointed staterooms. It is constructed in aluminum to ABS classification and charter compliance after an exterior design by Claydon Reeves, with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. According to the yard, Seaflower is also the first unit in the ThirtySix line built to IMO Tier 3 requirements, meaning it “adheres to the strictest environmental regulations to date.”

The tasteful custom interiors, penned by British Vickers Studio, are characterized by a contemporary design with light-oak finishes and deep-cut pile patterned carpets, beautifully complemented by calm fabric wall panels. Everything, from the smooth carpeting and comfy couches to the coffee tables, chairs, and even walls, shares the same neutral color palette of beige, brown, and natural wood.
The yacht exudes luxurious comfort and functionality, and throughout the interior, special emphasis is placed on preserving a gentle flow of natural light and providing those onboard with unobstructed views of the surrounding ocean from as many vantage points as possible. That’s made possible by floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that allow guests to easily connect with the ocean.
With a volume of just under 300 gross tons, this award-winning vessel can accommodate up to 10 guests across five staterooms and a crew of six across three cabins. The owner of the yacht benefits from a full-beam master suite situated forward on the main deck. The well-appointed stateroom comes complete with an ensuite shower, a separate bathroom, its own private study and dressing area, as well as a huge skylight above the double bed and large windows for amazing sea views.

The guest cabins – two double and two convertible ones – are located on the lower deck and are equally comfortable and luxurious. Moreover, they also boast their own ensuite bathrooms. When it comes to common living spaces, Seaflower benefits from a relaxing lounge area aft on the main deck and a formal dining space forward. Sliding glass doors to starboard create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas, opening onto a fold-down balcony.
As for the exterior spaces, the designers focused on creating ample space for enjoyment, relaxation, and socialization. Starting at the top, the split-level sun deck allows guests to bask in the sun, engage in conversations, and dine in style, as this area comes fitted with a bar and buffet aft, a plush lounging space, and a dining area for ten people beneath the hardtop.
Another al-fresco dining and entertaining spot can be found on the main deck aft, which is equipped with not one but two dining tables and comfortable L-shaped sofas for shaded dining close to the water. From the main deck, dual staircases lead down to the beach club, which is not as spacious as on other luxury superyachts but features a fold-down transom swim platform that extends the usable exterior space and a dayhead.

Accessed via narrow sidedecks, the foredeck offers a generous area for sun lounging with huge sun beds, while the yacht’s bow area houses yet another lounge, this time a more intimate one, perfect for relaxing and unwinding while admiring the views.
But no luxury yacht is complete without water toys for true enjoyment of the sea. As such, Seaflower comes with a garage area on the lower deck for a 20.6-foot (6.3-meter) Williams 625 DieselJet tender and two SeaDoos.
Performance-wise, the Seaflower superyacht is equipped with twin 1,150 hp Caterpillar diesel engines that propel it to a maximum speed of 18 knots (21 mph) and a cruising speed of 15 knots (17 mph). The vessel is also capable of a transatlantic range of 3,400 nautical miles (around 6,300 km or 3,900 miles) at 10 knots (11.5 knots).
With its beautiful styling, generous al-fresco areas, and luxurious accommodations, Seaflower is bound to offer its lucky future owner a high-end yachting experience. And considering that it was designed from the get-go to the highest charter demands, this €22,5 million (US$24,2 million) watercraft could turn out to be a wise investment choice for whoever ends up buying it.
