Watches and Wonders is just around the corner so the Snoopy MoonSwatch that Swatch has teased will likely be released as a frontrunner to the Geneva-based watch show.
In case you missed it, the 2024 Morgan Stanley report came out late last month, and here’s a glimpse at the top 20 Swiss watch brands based on wholesale revenue estimates (from 2023) by Morgan Stanley and Oliver R. Muller.
Earlier this month, we made our annual Rolex and Tudor predictions and had a designer mock-up a few potential looks (including the titanium Daytona with gray dial pictured above).
Announced this week, Renaud Tixier is an all-new watch brand by Dominique Renaud (formerly of Renaud et Papi) and Julien Tixier. The inaugural timepiece is presented in a traditional round 40.8 mm x 11 mm gold case, with high-end finishing, and an industry-first micro-rotor mechanism that winds the watch and acts as a shock absorber.
Omega launched a white Speedmaster Moonwatch earlier this month, which like the MoonSwatch follows the same marketing strategy being utilized by the Swatch (both brands are part of the same group), which is to tease and then launch ahead of the world’s leading watch show, and in doing so saving millions compared to if they exhibited at the show.
