The property is slated for a May 2 auction with Ray White Double Bay’s Adam Reichman and Elliott Placks.
Mr Reichman anticipated a strong response to the blue-chip offering.
“Turnkey properties in Bellevue Hill are pretty rare to find at the moment,” he said.
“A property of this calibre in this position will be extremely sought-after.”
The home, which sits on a 900-square-metre block, features a signature Rosselli curved staircase and breakfast nook off a designer kitchen with Shaker-style cabinetry and Calacatta marble island.
The home’s six bedrooms include two-attic like spaces with oculus dormer windows, while outside landscaped gardens surround a pool and cabana.
Ingham’s $20m downsize
Staying in Sydney’s east, but moving to harbourside peninsula Darling Point, where Sue Ingham, of the Ingham chicken family, has listed her colourful home with a guide of $20 million.
The daughter of late chicken farmer Jack Ingham told AFR Weekend the five-bedroom abode on Etham Avenue was the “perfect family home” and is simply too big for her needs.
“I just don’t need all that room any more,” Ms Ingham said. “I’m sad to go. I need to move to the next stage of my life. It’s the best street in Darling Point, and I’ll certainly miss my neighbours.”
From the Barbie-pink front door to the rose-toned marble fireplace, the grand home is punctuated with bright details.
“I love colour, especially pink,” Ms Ingham said of the home’s aesthetic created by Bourkeshire Interiors.
Purchased for $7.8 million in 2009, the early 1900s manor features a heated pool and spa, harbour-view terrace, oak floors and a custom marble kitchen by DeGabriele Kitchens.
The property is listed with Sotheby’s Michael Pallier and Daphne Sauvage for sale via expressions of interest.
Meanwhile, Sue’s daughter Jess Ingham has recently pulled her luxury Woolloomooloo finger wharf apartment from the market, after briefly listing it for $15 million late last year.
“After celebrating Christmas and New Year there, we decided the time wasn’t right to sell,” Jess Ingham told AFR Weekend, putting her search for a larger family home with husband Roger Zraika on ice for the foreseeable future.
