Celebrities busted out the flagship models of five horological heavyweights this week.

NBA star Kyle Kuzma and real estate mogul Ryan Serhant were both spotted wearing Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks. Launched at the Basel watch fair in 1972, this iconic model defined the luxury sports watch genre and is still the most popular design in the AP catalog.

Tennis wunderkind Carlos Alcaraz received his second Wimbledon championship trophy with Rolex’s famous Daytona on his wrist, while Serbian ace Novak Djokovic rocked Hublot’s legendary Big Bang as he accepted the second-place prize. Kylian Mbappé also rocked a Hublot while signing with Real Madrid. It wasn’t the Swiss watchmaker’s flagship model, but it was inspired by the Big Bang.

To top it off, Glen Powell donned TAG Heuer’s classic Carrera and Bobby Flay sported Panerai’s renowned Luminor.

Below are the best watch flexes of the week.

  • Carlos Alcaraz: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

This year’s Wimbledon men’s final was eerily similar to last year’s. Spanish prodigy Carlos Alcaraz defeated Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic, then accepted his winner’s trophy with his trusty Rolex Cosmograph Daytona on his wrist. His rival also wore the same Hublot Big Bang he wore in 2023 to receive his second-place trophy for the second time in a row. Alcaraz’s Daytona (Ref. 116519LN) features an 18-karat yellow-gold case, a black Cerachrom bezel, a dazzling meteorite dial, and a black Oysterflex bracelet. Meteorite dials were a fixture of the Rolex portfolio for several years, but the asteroid-derived material was discontinued for the Daytona models in 2023. As such, timepieces like Alcaraz’s go for about $100,000 on the secondary market.

  • Kylian Mbappé: Hublot Square Bang Unico

Kylian Mbappé wore a big watch for a big moment. The 25-year-old French forward, who left Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year, signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid on Tuesday with a Hublot Square Bang Unico on his wrist. The Swiss watchmaker unveiled this novel, square-shaped model at Watches & Wonders in 2022. Inspired by the iconic Big Bang, the piece showcased entirely new geometry for the Hublot. The first three 42 mm models were made of 18-karat King Gold, solid titanium, and black ceramic, respectively. Unveiled at LVMH watch week earlier this year, Mbappé’s model features a King Gold case, a blue ceramic bezel, and a striking skeletonized dial. It will set you back $41,600.

  • Novak Djokovic: Hublot Big Bang

The Hublot Big Bang Integrated Green Ceramic hasn’t brought Novak Djokovic any luck at Wimbledon over the past two years. The Serbian tennis star lost the men’s final to Carlos Alcaraz for the second time last Sunday, collecting his runner-up trophy while once again wearing the timepiece in question. The limited edition features a 42 mm case, bezel, and bracelet made from satin-finished and polished green ceramic. It also sports a striking skeleton dial that showcases Hublot’s HUB1280 UNICO integrated self-winding chronograph. Limited to 250 examples, the model is priced at $24,100. It is worthwhile pointing out that Djokovic wore a Big Bang Meca-10 Ceramic Blue after his French Open win last year, so perhaps the green ceramic is responsible for Djoko’s losing streak.

  • Bobby Flay: Panerai Luminor Due Goldtech

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay wore a sizzling Panerai Luminor Due on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week. Released in 2022, this modern riff (PAM01336) pays homage to the 1950s Lumninor but showcases a slimmer, more refined profile and elegant, contemporary aesthetic. Priced at $21,500, the watch features a 42 mm Goldtech case, a matching Goldtech bezel a black alligator strap. It also sports a striking white dial with a date display at three o’clock and the signature small seconds subdial at nine o’clock. Sizzling, indeed.

  • Kyle Kuzma: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph

Kyle Kuzma eschewed his De Bethune in favor of an Audemars Piguet for a party at the Wynn Las Vegas last Saturday. The Royal Oak is one of the special editions the Swiss watchmaker released in honor of the iconic model’s 50th anniversary in 2023. The monochromatic beauty features a 41 mm case, bezel, and integrated strap in black ceramic. The signature grande tapisserie dial is also black and contrasted with subtle pink-gold accents. The integrated flyback chronograph, which debuted in the Royal Oak collection in 2021, showcases even more black and the coveted 50th Anniversary imprint. The price, not surprisingly, is upon request.

  • Glen Powell: TAG Heuer Carrera

Glen Powell busted out a stunning Omegas on the press tour for Twisters, but it was the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph he wore to the L.A. premiere that had us in a good kind of spin. Released in 2023, this “glass box” model honors the legacy of Jack Heuer’s original Carrera from 1963. Taking design cues from the 2447 NS model, the modern iteration features a sleek 39 mm steel case and a black dial with three silver “azure” counters arranged in the famous reverse panda style. The main dial also showcases a 60-second scale and tachymeter scale along the tension ring, just like Heuer’s first Carrera model. The chronograph runs on a next-generation movement (Calibre TH20-00, or Heuer 02) and is fitted with a luxurious perforated leather strap. It costs a relatively modest $6,450.

  • Ryan Serhant: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph

Owning Manhattan star Ryan Serhant owns a very nice sports watch. The real estate mogul wore an elegant Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph to the SiriusXM Studios on Tuesday. This iteration of the 1970s icon features a 41 mm stainless steel case, a silver-toned grande tapisserie dial, and a steel bracelet with AP’s signature folding clasp. As always, three chronograph subdials lie at three, six, and nine o’clock while a date display sits at four o’clock. Kuzma’s and Serhant’s models sit at opposite ends of the spectrum, with one all-black and one all-silver. Serhant’s isn’t a special anniversary model, though, so it will only run you $38,500.
