Key Takeaways
- Lexus GX Monogram concept is fitted with a hearth oven, wine bar, and cold drawer.
- The luxury SUV was custom designed for the Food & Wine Classic event in Aspen.
- Lexus has fitted a bar with wine and bourbon storage, glassware, and a bar kit.
Many manufacturers claim their cars are fully equipped, but Lexus has taken that term to another level with its new GX Monogram concept. While it resembles the regular GX parked outside your local Lexus dealership, the Monogram (yes, like the high-end appliance company) comes with features you’d usually find in your home. This includes a 30-inch electric Smart Flush Hearth Oven, allowing budding chefs to prepare hearty artisan bread or even pizza.
While you wait for your food to finish cooking, you can help yourself to a drink – as long as you don’t get behind the wheel afterward. The Monogram includes a wine and spirit bar with a cutting board, bar kit, bitters, and glassware. The drinks (wine and bourbon) are kept in specialized storage spaces in the exterior side panels. Rivian has also previewed a fold-out kitchen, which is perfect for cooking while camping.

Everything You Need For An Al Fresco Meal
Pressure-fitted cutouts ensure that everything stays in place. A bottle opener and additional glasses are also included should people start to congregate around your Lexus for an impromptu happy hour. There’s also a rear cold drawer in the back of the vehicle, with enough space for fresh ingredients and other things that may require chilling.

Once the pizza – or fancy bread – is ready, a plating station with cutlery, a trash bin, and other essentials can be found within the station. As far as custom features and optional extras go, the Monogram is about as niche and exciting as they come. But if you’re a foodie with a penchant for luxury cars, don’t reach for your checkbook just yet.
Our all-new Lexus GX was designed to highlight the unique duality of luxury and off-roading capability, enabling our guests to create amazing experiences on the road. Together with Monogram, Lexus is taking the GX experience to a new level, where road adventures meet culinary experiences.

Built For Food And Wine Lovers
Lexus created the GX Monogram for the Food & Wine Classic event, which will take place this weekend in Aspen, Colorado. The vehicle was designed to appeal to “culinary, wine, and spirits aficionados” and includes a slew of classy touches. The SUV receives a two-tone leather interior with a custom pattern, tasteful brass, and titanium metal touches, Dekton state stone accents, exterior detailing, and custom wheels. A split-folding tailgate enables greater access into the trunk. While it’s great, we don’t expect this to move beyond the concept stage.

2024 Lexus GX First Drive Review: Truly Worth The Long Wait
The new GX is better in every single way.
The company is no stranger to creating custom-builds based on its luxury SUVs. For SEMA 2023, Lexus created several rugged off-roaders, including one based on the new GX. Dubbed the GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP Build, the SUV receives aluminum skid plates, 18-inch wheels, 33-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires, and several other upgrades. The GX is clearly versatile, whether it is used for the school run, as a mobile kitchen and bar, or as a hardcore off-roader.
