MACAU, CHINA. Moët Hennessy Travel Retail, in collaboration with DFS Group, has unveiled the House of Hennessy boutique at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, The Shoppes at Four Seasons. This marks the first branded wines & spirits boutique to open at the location.  

The concept store goes beyond Cognac by featuring a dedicated space for Champagne

The boutique – which includes a VIP Lounge, Rotating Bar and Discovery Area – is committed to helping shoppers find their ‘perfect Hennessy match’

As travellers step into the boutique, they are greeted by a 3.7m-tall merrain (stave) façade that features layered wood in an irregular pattern. The façade is derived from oak wood barrels, which are essential to the creation of Hennessy Cognacs.  

The boutique show window spotlights imagery from Hennessy X.O’s latest campaign, ‘Life Is the Greatest Odyssey’. 

The destination-exclusive expressions are highlighted on a podium alongside the bottle customisation service

The boutique’s pièce de résistance is the Hennessy Rotating Bar, exclusively available at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, The Shoppes at Four Seasons. 

The Activation Area inside the boutique displays the maison’s seasonal activations, while digital screens showcase latest campaigns. The Discovery Area stocks the complete Hennessy range – from entry-range Cognacs to rare expressions. 

The boutique spans 1,500sq ft and its design captures ‘the spirit of indulgence’

The boutique takes travellers on an immersive journey through sensory films, aromas and sound waves. Moët Hennessy Travel Retail noted: “Guests are invited to explore their emotions and senses through an immersive sensorial journey, discovering their perfect Hennessy match via sight, smell, hearing and touch.” 

Selections made during each phase reveal their compatible sensory identity: Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O, James Hennessy, Hennessy X.X.O, or Hennessy Paradis. At the journey’s end, travellers taste their match. 

The experience is concluded with the Hennessy Hands and Art of Gifting atelier’s personalised bottle services. Any Hennessy bottle can be engraved in gold, copper or silver. For Hennessy Paradis, travellers can add colourful leather.

Hennessy X.X.O can be customised with embellishments including straps, medallions and stickers showcasing Macau landmarks. 

The boutique’s VIP Lounge is a private space for high-net-worth clients, and it features ultra-luxe Cognac selections. VIP Lounge visitors are offered dedicated time with brand ambassadors for in-depth discussions about exclusive offerings. This setting allows personalised tastings. 

The space reflects Hennessy’s history through colours, patterns, textures and architectural elements

The boutique also offers Hennessy customers a chance to shop beyond the Cognac category with the inclusion of Les Caves de Champagne. A dedicated space showcases Moët Hennessy Travel Retail’s popular Champagne brands including Armand de Brignac, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot and Moët & Chandon. 

Travellers are invited to explore their emotions and senses through an immersive sensorial journey
