Today’s gigantic superyachts boast many jaw-dropping qualities, but there’s one thing they can’t do. When it comes to real water fun and adrenaline-pumping speed, smaller and sleeker boats are the way to go. And the best part is that these sporty toys offer the same onboard luxury as their oversized counterparts.
Incentivized is one of them. It’s just a little over 80 feet (82.7 feet/25.2 meters), but it looks and feels like a high-class New York loft. And when it comes to performance, it’s simply one of the best. You could compare it to the maritime version of a private jet, allowing its owner to cover short distances extremely fast, in full comfort, and having as much fun as possible.
This sleek dark grey beast is a product of 2023. It’s the ninth hull in the successful AB 80 series, confirming the market success of speed-oriented luxury yachts. AB Yachts, one of the two Next Yacht Group brands, is all about high performance and a sporty attitude.

These ultra-modern pleasure craft, made from advanced materials and with the latest techniques, are designed for yachting enthusiasts who want to travel from Manhattan to the Hamptons or from Portofino to Saint Tropez in less than a couple of hours.
With a boat from AB Yachts, someone could get from Miami to Cat Cays in the Bahamas in just 45 minutes and have maximum fun on the way. The Italian brand claims to have state-of-the-art weapons in its arsenal, including aircraft construction techniques, advanced pitch attitude control systems, and outstanding propulsion technology. The AB Yachts high-performance hulls combine thrilling power with high comfort levels on board and luxurious amenities.
The AB 80 is the smallest model in the brand’s portfolio. It’s designed for the most adventurous owners who want to be the captains of their boats literally. Thrill seekers will have a blast steering this 25-meter beast on their own at 45 knots (51 mph/83 kph) – and that’s just the cruising speed. The ultra-dynamic AB 80 is born to cut through the waves at an impressive 57 knots (65.5 mph/105.5 kph).
Apart from the exhilarating ride, this remarkable speed translates to the lowest cruising times possible. At the same time, the yacht feels surprisingly spacious for a boat this size, both in terms of accommodation and outdoor areas.

Incentivized is a full GRP boat with exterior design and stylish interiors by Acube Design. The sleek silhouette boasts a 6.5-meter (21 feet) beam and a 1.3-meter (4.2 feet) draft for extreme maneuverability and easy access to areas that large vessels can’t reach. The generous 81 GT interior volume ensures comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests through a four-cabin configuration.
In addition to the AB Yachts naval architecture and modern GRP structure, Incentivized owes its top-level performance to the triple MAN V12-2000 diesel engines. Zero-speed stabilizers add comfort for those onboard at anchor and upon arrival, and underwater lighting makes the cruising experience even more intense. A yacht that was designed to save time is obviously not a long-range machine – Incentivized can’t cover more than 300 nautical miles (555 km) during one trip.
Style-wise, the masculine metallic exterior is perfectly matched by cool, contemporary interiors. This Italian beast is minimalistic and clean, but the high-quality furnishings and glossy materials add a touch of glam. The neutral color palette in cold tones doesn’t distract from the yacht’s main attribute –fascinating speed for sports lovers.
The salon on the main deck reveals a sophisticated setup with a generous lounge area and a separate area for formal dining near the family-style kitchen. Outside, the aft deck is equipped for wonderful dinners in the open air, while the foredeck is entirely dedicated to sun lounging.

From the salon, guests have access to the cabins on the lower deck. All of the four staterooms are located on this deck, including the spacious owner’s suite. Similar to a superyacht suite, it boasts a sumptuous sleeping area, a separate office, and an elegant en-suite bathroom. A large VIP cabin sits forward. The yacht also ensures crew accommodation for two people.
Stylish walk-around side decks connect the foredeck (dominated by huge sun pads) with the aft area, where guests can enjoy a second lounge area. Like any reputable sporty yacht, Incentivized also boasts a decent-sized garage that can house up to two jetskis and many other water toys.
The young Incentivized is already looking for a new owner and claims to be “as good as new.” Still, the price tag is just as intimidating as its extreme power: $11 million for this high-speed luxury water toy.
