The federal government raised more than $3.2 million through an auction of luxury vehicles seized from Omi in a Hellcat, a South Jersey man convicted of crimes related to cable TV piracy.

The auction for the U.S. Marshals Service was intended to satisfy part of a whopping financial penalty for Bill Omar Carrasquillo, a former Woolwich resident and YouTube personality now in federal prison.

Besides getting a five-year term, Carrasquillo was ordered in March to pay reimbursement of $15 million and to forfeit $30 million in proceeds from his scheme.
