South Korea’s leading crypto exchange, Bithumb, has announced the listing of SONIC SVM, SAFE (KRW market), and AHT for the Won market. The listing announcement has led to a surge in the market price of $SONIC and $SAFE.
Bithumb Lists SONIC, SAFE and AHT
According to the official announcement, deposits and withdrawals for $SONIC, $SAFE, and $AHT will commence within three hours of the notice being posted. Trading for $SONIC and $SAFE is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025, while trading for $AHT is set to start at 2:00 PM on the same day.

The base price for $SONIC has been set at 1,110 won, $SAFE at 1,376 won, and $AHT at 9.788 won, with 20 deposit confirmations required for $SONIC and $AHT, and 33 confirmations required for $SAFE to secure transactions.
Note that the supported network for Sonic SVM (SONIC) is Solana, while SAFE is supported only on Ethereum, and AHT is supported exclusively on Luniverse. According to the official notice, the number of deposit confirmations required is 20 for SONIC and AHT, while SAFE requires 33.
To ensure a secure trading environment, Bithumb has laid down customary restrictions for all three tokens. Buying orders are restricted for the first five minutes after trading begins, while selling orders are limited during this period to prices no less than -10% and no more than +100% of the base price. Additionally, automated orders will only be available after the initial transaction following the start of trading.
SONIC, SAFE , AHT Surges Post Bithumb’s Announcement
Following the listing announcement, both SONIC and SAFE saw a surge in their market prices. $SAFE rose 11.72% to $1.06. The 24-hour market volume surged by an impressive 184.25%, reaching $57.03 million. The market cap of SAFE remains strong at $490.29 million.
As for $SONIC, it is currently quoted at $0.8434 after a 4.6% surge. SONIC’s 24-hour market volume has decreased by 26.72%, totaling $575.52 million. However, the market cap for the crypto remains substantial at $303.63 million.
AHT token (AHT) has also risen by 52.48% to $0.01042. The 24-hour market volume for $AHT has grown by an astounding 322.03%, reaching $414.46 million. The market cap for this project is currently at $60.69 million.
