After spending months under pressure, Cardano (ADA) is showing fresh strength as the broader crypto market turns bullish. ADA has recently rallied nearly 27%-29% toward $0.21. The recent recovery is also being supported by a sharp rise in Cardano’s network activity, improving ADA/BTC chart and several new institutional and ecosystem developments.
Now the question is whether this is just a short-term bounce or the start of a much bigger ADA rally. Let’s find out!
ADA to hit $3 or $5?
Crypto analyst Crypto Dossier mentioned in his latest X post that ADA may outperform Bitcoin by 2–4x during a broader bull market. The analyst pointed to a breakout in the ADA/BTC ratio above its 200-day moving average after years of weakness.
If Bitcoin reaches around $150,000, the analysis puts ADA near $1.50. With stronger catalysts, including a potential U.S. spot ADA ETF, scalability upgrades and RealFi growth, ADA could potentially reach $2 or higher.
ADA’s immediate resistance sits around $0.23-$0.24, followed by $0.28-$0.29. A clean breakout above $0.2887 may potentially pull the bullish structure, while $0.50 would mark a major macro trend reversal.
However, on the further upside, another analyst Crypto Patel remains even more bullish, with targets at $0.28, $0.50, $1, $2, $3 and eventually $5+.
On the downside, he identifies $0.16-$0.09 as the next accumulation zone and says a two-week close below $0.08 would invalidate his setup.
Cardano Network Activity Surges
Cardano’s on-chain activity has picked up sharply alongside the price recovery. According to Chainspect data, daily transactions rose above 24,000 before climbing another 33% to 32,841.
The network has now processed around 123 million transactions since 2017, while developer activity remains strong with more than 303,000 commits tracked by Chainspect.
Cardano’s stablecoin market cap has also crossed $62.5 million, with USDCx accounting for roughly $44 million.
Fresh Catalysts for ADA
Institutional interest is also improving. T. Rowe Price has added ADA to its Active Crypto ETF with a 0.44% allocation. Cardano’s upcoming Ouroboros Leios upgrade expects to improve throughput, while the ₳120 million Cardano PRIME program targets DeFi liquidity and growth.
ADA has also traded on CME futures for more than six months, potentially satisfying a condition for the SEC’s streamlined spot ETF process.
With stronger activity, institutional exposure and multiple catalysts, ADA’s setup is improving, but Bitcoin’s trend and the recovery of altseason will ultimately decide how far the rally can run.
