DFZ Labs, the creators of the Deadfellaz NFT project, has partnered with Unstoppable Domains to launch the .dfz domain designed to improve digital identity management for the Deadfellaz community.

The .dfz domain allows users to create human-readable addresses for blockchain transactions, compatible with platforms such as Ethereum and Polygon.

These domains are designed to simplify the process of sending and receiving cryptocurrencies and NFTs, catering to the needs of Deadfellaz NFT holders and the broader web3 community.

Expanding Digital Identity and Owenership

The .dfz domain functions as an NFT minted on the Polygon blockchain, and is compatible with over 865 platforms in Unstoppable Domains’ ecosystem, allowing for integration across multiple web3 applications.

“Our collaboration with Unstoppable Domains is a natural progression in our mission to empower our community with true digital ownership and identity,” said Betty, CEO & Co-Founder of DFZ LABS. “The .dfz domains will allow our ‘Horde’ to express themselves in the digital realm like never before, and they will be able to incorporate their Deadfellaz identity across platforms and applications.”

“We’re excited to partner with Deadfellaz, an amazing project that truly understands the importance of digital identity in the digital space,” said Sandy Carter, Chief Operating Officer at Unstoppable Domains. “This collaboration shows how powerful NFT projects like this can continue to evolve and provide ongoing value to their communities through partnerships and integrations.”

DFZ Labs and Unstoppable Domains also plan to apply for a generic top-level domain (gTLD) with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in 2026 to explore the potential of integrating traditional internet domains with web3 functionalities. If successful, the .dfz domain will join the ranks of iconic ICANN-registered generic top-level domains like .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, and more.
