This week is packed with events that could move crypto prices, from major economic data releases to big tech earnings. Here’s what’s on the calendar, and what analysts are watching for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP.

What’s Happening This Week

Markets are reacting today after Trump canceled planned US strikes on Iran. Beyond that, several major economic reports are landing:

  • Monday: July ISM Manufacturing PMI data
  • Tuesday: June JOLTS Job Openings data, plus earnings from AMD and SpaceX
  • Wednesday: July ADP Nonfarm Employment Change data, plus earnings from SanDisk
  • Friday: The July jobs report, due Friday, is one of the week’s biggest market catalysts

On top of that, roughly 20% of S&P 500 companies are reporting earnings this week, adding even more potential for volatility across markets, crypto included.

Where Bitcoin Stands Right Now

Bitcoin closed July at $62,818, remaining down over 49% from its October peak. One analyst pointed to a few key numbers: the 200-week moving average sits near $63,000, the realized price is around $52,000 and still falling, and the monthly RSI reading of 43 remains below the neutral 50 level.

According to that analysis, Bitcoin may be starting a bottoming process, a phase that historically takes one to three months and often includes a dip below the realized price before finding a true bottom.

A separate analysis compared the current cycle to the three previous ones. Based on how many days have passed since Bitcoin’s October 2025 peak, the historical median path would put Bitcoin near $45,347 right now.

Instead, Bitcoin is trading about 39% above that historical benchmark, suggesting this cycle has held up noticeably better than past ones so far. That doesn’t guarantee the decline is finished, but it does show relative strength compared to history.

XRP Is Coiling Near a Key Level

XRP must defend $1.06 support and then reclaim $1.16 to shift its structure now, according to chart analysts tracking the token. Every relief rally since XRP’s January high near $2.40 has been capped by the same resistance pattern, and $1.16 remains the level to watch for signs that could finally change.

Price is currently compressing between the 20-day and 50-day moving averages, roughly between $1.08 and $1.12, a tight range analysts say is building pressure for a bigger move, though it’s not yet clear which direction that move will take.

Ethereum’s Range Could Be a Setup, Not Stability

Ethereum has been stuck trading between roughly $1,860 and $1,955 for several weeks. One analyst says Ethereum could eventually reach higher levels after a deeper pullback, but only after a specific sequence plays out first: a rally into the $1,900 to $2,000 resistance zone, followed by a distribution period, then a deeper test toward the $900 to $1,400 range before any new bull cycle begins.
