Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) starts in 2024 with the recent sale of a Deep Blue 141. This achievement closely follows the announcement of the sale of a Deep Blue 115 in the first two weeks of the year. The collaboration with IYC’s London office has played a pivotal role in these successes, underlining the fruitful partnership between CdM and IYC.

Carlo Aquilanti, CdM’s Sales Manager, expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration with IYC and emphasized the strategic vision and determination that have propelled CdM’s journey. He highlighted the deep commitment and pride in crafting explorer yachts that stand as a testament to CdM’s exceptional accomplishments since its inception in 2010.

Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM, took pride in the indomitable spirit of their explorer yachts and emphasized that CdM’s leadership in the construction of explorer yachts is a result of intentional dedication and quality ingrained in both design and construction.

The success story extends to the Deep Blue range, which originated from the collaborative project with Acala. This collaboration, spearheaded by CdM, Horacio Bozzo, and Acala’s owner, laid the foundation for the success and customization possibilities seen in the Deep Blue series.

The Deep Blue 141, an explorer yacht boasting robust capabilities, features an exterior design by Horacio Bozzo and interiors by the UK-based Vickers Studio. Naval Architecture and engineering are executed by Hydro Tec. Horacio Bozzo emphasized the yacht’s perfect customizability, maintaining the essence of its predecessor, Acala, while incorporating specific client requests.

John Vickers of Vickers Studio shared excitement about contributing to the interior design of the 43m Deep Blue. He praised CdM’s reputation for quality and honesty, expressing eagerness to bring a fresh interior design to this impressive world cruiser.

The Deep Blue 141 combines aesthetic appeal with functional layouts, bridging the gap between the robust explorer yacht look and the timeless elegance of an oceangoing luxury vessel. With a steel hull, a length just above 43m, and a beam of 8.60m, it boasts a Gross Tonnage shy of 500GT. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, it achieves a top speed of 15.3 knots and an impressive range of around 7500 nautical miles at 10 knots, attesting to its capabilities for global exploration.

The layout, inspired by Acala’s design, reflects the owner’s preferences and lifestyle.

CdM’s story begins in 2010. The facilities cover an overall surface of 16˙000 square meters, including 7˙000 sq. m of workshops and 1˙000 sq. m of docks. Since 2015, the shipyard has been the world’s leading builder of explorer yachts. Based in Ancona, Cantiere delle Marche builds yachts from 26m to 43m in length.
