Blackmouth Games has recently launched Domenation Early Access, providing a twist, on the battle royale genre. This third-person shooter is now available on platforms like Steam, Ultra, Elixir Games and HyperPlay, immersing players in an environment where they must face off against both each other and menacing Mutants on an island.
Gameplay Elements
Domenation sets itself apart with its mechanics involving “Domes” and “Pulse.” Unlike battle royale games that shrink the play area over time, Domenation requires players to seek refuge within energy shields known as Domes. These protective barriers appear periodically across the map to shield players from the Pulse—a phenomenon that occurs every minute. As the game progresses, fewer Domes are available, ramping up the intensity of combat until a showdown within a Dome.
Domenation Early Access
The current Early Access version of Domenation supports matches with up to 28 players. It aims to accommodate up to 42 participants through updates. Each game lasts for 12 minutes, offering paced and engaging gameplay experiences.
Players have the freedom to explore the map, scavenge for loot and engage in battles with AI opponents to acquire items. Additionally, the game provides opportunities for character customization through skins and chips that enhance gameplay mechanics.
Throughout the map, chests filled with loot are scattered around, containing weapons, grenades, shields and health packs.
Rare items are harder to find, and it’s important to use them to outlast your opponents.
Engaging with the community and incorporating Play to Earn features is a focus for Blackmouth Games. By involving users in the creation and adapting the game based on player feedback, Domenation remains dynamic and relevant with challenges.
Though the full launch of Play to Earn mechanics is not yet active, the game plans to introduce a system featuring $DOMEN as its utility token. Players will have opportunities to earn $DOMEN through game modes, completing challenges, and participating in tournaments. This token can be used to acquire NFTs, enhance player experiences, and unlock benefits.
NFT Mint Raffle
In addition to the Early Access launch, players can participate in an NFT mint raffle on Premint. By signing up on the Premint page with their wallet address and completing quests, players have a chance to win one of 3,000 NFTs.
