The wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani, the youngest member of the Ambani family, and Radhika Merchant, which grandly took place at a cost of five thousand crore rupees, had gained world attention. Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries owner Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, got married on July 12 to Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma industry stalwarts Viren Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant.
Another Ambani who shined at the wedding was ‘Happy Ambani’, the Ambani’s pet dog. Pictures of this golden retriever sizzling in designer outfits at the wedding had gone viral.
The pet dog also grows up in the same living conditions as the Ambanis who lead a luxurious life. Anand Ambani’s pet dog ‘Happy’ travels in a Mercedes-Benz G400D model car worth three crores. Images of this diesel SUV were the talk of the town recently.
Before Benz, Happy’s journey was in a 50 lakh Toyota Fortuner and a 1.5 crore Toyota Welfare. The ex-showroom price of a Mercedes-Benz G400D is around Rs 2.55 crore.
The G400D, which replaced the G350D, was introduced earlier this year. The SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre OM656, in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine. Mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission it can produce 330 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque.
