Heroes of Mavia developer Skrice Studios has announced plans to expand into a broader web3 gaming ecosystem with the launch of GameLink—a Digital Asset Exchange Platform (DAEP) that will support multiple blockchain games and facilitate seamless asset trading. As part of this transition, Heroes of Mavia’s existing Marketplace & Exchange will be integrated into GameLink.

The studio has also revealed that six flagship games will be included in the launch of GameLink to further expand the ecosystem. Whilst the names of these additional titles have not been disclosed, they are expected to be developed by high-caliber teams with AAA gaming experience.

The beta version of GameLink is scheduled to launch on April 25 with a full release planned for December 2025.

What is Heroes of Mavia?

Heroes of Mavia is a blockchain-based mobile strategy game where players control their own bases, recruit troops, and engage in battles whilst earning and trading digital assets. The game initially launched with its own NFT-based economy, allowing players to buy, sell, and upgrade in-game properties and characters.

With the upcoming integration into GameLink, Heroes of Mavia is evolving from a standalone web3 game into a key component of a broader gaming ecosystem. This means its assets will no longer be confined to a single game but will be part of a larger platform that connects multiple blockchain-based titles. The introduction of Ruby 2.0, the upgraded version of its in-game currency, is expected to make transactions more dynamic, as it will be used across various games within the ecosystem.

As part of this transition, Skrice Studios is restructuring the Mavia development team to ensure a smooth migration to GameLink and to enhance game development moving forward.

What to expect with the upcoming roadmap?

Skrice Studios has confirmed that a new roadmap for Heroes of Mavia will be released soon, providing details on upcoming features and improvements. The roadmap is expected to focus on several key areas, including gameplay refinements, enhanced player experience, and the integration of GameLink. The studio has emphasized that its goal is to optimise Mavia’s core mechanics whilst ensuring a seamless transition to the new platform.

One of the most significant changes will be the full migration of Heroes of Mavia’s existing marketplace to GameLink. This move will coincide with the platform’s beta launch in April 2025, bringing expanded asset trading options, improved liquidity, and faster transactions. Additionally, Ruby 1.0 will be phased out and replaced with Ruby 2.0, which will have greater utility across multiple games. The transition will involve an automatic conversion of Ruby at a 10:1 ratio, ensuring continuity for existing players.

Beyond these technical updates, Skrice Studios is working on introducing new gameplay elements and refining Mavia’s competitive aspects. The integration with GameLink is expected to create new opportunities for in-game assets to gain value, as players will be able to trade across multiple gaming platforms.

With the full launch of GameLink set for December 2025, Heroes of Mavia players can expect a transformative year ahead.
