Latest findings show that 88% of enterprises say they will adopt stablecoin payments within twelve months, and that 42% already have. So the window where stablecoin settlement was a competitive advantage is closing fast.

In fact, it’s becoming more of a baseline expectation from the people you do business with.

Until recently, crypto payments for businesses were not taken seriously because there was no regulatory framework, and in most cases, you had to build your own infrastructure from scratch.

  4. Plan for compliance: Choose a provider that already holds the required licences in the countries where you operate to make regulatory compliance much easier.

How to Accept Stablecoin Payments: A Practical Step-by-Step Guide

Once you know which stablecoins, which chains, and how you want the money settled, you can start the setup.

  1. Pick your provider: Your chain and stablecoin requirements should narrow your list to two or three providers. From there, compare transaction fees, settlement speed, and whether they hold licenses in the countries you take payments from.
  2. Complete onboarding: Providers verify your business before they let you take payments. You submit registration documents, ownership details, and ID for whoever signs on the account.
