Singapore-based restaurant group Paradise Group held their annual dinner and dance on March 6.
Some 1,600 people were in attendance.
The F&B group took the opportunity to gift long-serving employees Rolex watches at the event — the highlight of the night.
A post on Xiaohongshu by a blogger at the event praised companies that invest in employees, saying such firms go far.
A Paradise Group employee took to Facebook to confirm that employees who worked for 10 years were given a Rolex watch, regardless of position.
Employees were seen walking to a table of Rolexes and picking up their gift.
A host could be heard saying off-camera: “I believe it will be an unforgettable night for these of you who have worked for 10 years.”
The Rolex recipients went on stage for a group photo as well.
Some 100 Rolex watches were given out that night.

The generous gesture has been praised by many online, given the reputation of F&B and retail work in Singapore being lower-paying jobs.
