The Italian Sea Group has announced that the Tecnomar Catamaran This is it received the “Best Catamaran” award at the Robb Report’s Best of the Best 2024. This annual event, held in Monaco on July 10th at the Yachting Club, honors top luxury products and experiences across various categories including yachting, architecture, style, design, and technological innovation.

The judging panel comprised editors and experts from 15 categories such as automotive, yachting, aviation, travel, style, watches, jewelry, food, wine, spirits, art, design, cigars, equipment, and residential building. They evaluated entries based on innovation, attention to detail, and the pursuit of excellence.

Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group, acknowledged the team’s efforts, stating, “The dedication, skill, and hard work of our team have been crucial in achieving this recognition. I extend my congratulations to our management and the professionals who worked together to create this remarkable catamaran, rich in detail, research, and technology.”

This is it distinguishes itself in the catamaran market with its innovative design and unconventional approach. The vessel combines traditional and modern elements, featuring a layout with notable asymmetries and over 600 square meters of glass surfaces. The design draws inspiration from technological and architectural advancements rather than conventional yachting aesthetics.

Key features of This is it include its dynamic design, speed, and sportiness, which are integral to Tecnomar’s identity. The engineering process focused on weight distribution, crucial due to the extensive use of glass in the design. The interior is marked by refined details and high-quality materials such as leather, Alcantara, oak, and teak, along with gray marble accents. The design emphasizes dynamic, enveloping shapes with a sophisticated color palette of beige and platinum gray, complemented by gold, bronze, and titanium accents.
The Italian Sea Group is a global operator in the luxury yachting industry, listed on Euronext Milan (“EXM”) and active in the construction and refit of motor yachts and sailing yachts up to 140 meters. The Company, led by Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Costantino, operates on the market with the brands Admiral, renown for elegant and prestigious yachts, Tecnomar, Perini Navi, and Picchiotti; the Company has a business unit, NCA Refit, that manages the maintenance and refit services for yachts and mega yachts with a length over 60 meters.
