Uprising, a gaming-focused Layer 2 network built on the Oasys blockchain, saw its collection of Genesis NFTs debut on August 14. The event was divided into three phases and offered participants the opportunity to mint one of 1,111 NFTs for free.
The Guaranteed Mint phase began at 10 AM EST, followed by a Waitlist First Come, First Serve (FCFS) phase at 11 AM EST. During this second phase, all remaining NFTs were quickly claimed before the Public Mint phase scheduled for 12 PM EST, could even begin.
These NFTs are now actively trading on OpenSea, with the floor price currently sitting at 0.028 $ETH as of writing.

The Uprising Genesis NFT Collection is the inaugural NFT series released by Uprising, consisting of 1,111 PFP NFTs. Of these, 222 were allocated for partners and the project’s treasury. These NFTs are designed to serve a foundational role within the Uprising ecosystem, providing various utilities across its gaming-focused Layer 2 network.
The Genesis NFTs will act as Game Passes for future web3 games on the Uprising platform, though specific details about these passes are yet to be fully disclosed. Additionally, these NFTs offer bonuses for a Discord leaderboard and enhance the earning potential for Proof of Play Points. These points are earned through active participation in the network and can be exchanged for rewards.
