Anonymous XRP exchange operator, Mr. A is being sentenced to 8 years in prison as he was convicted of serious crypto fraud and embezzled around 4.6 billion Korean won i.e. $3.3 million. Since 2015, Mr A has been a central figure in the South Korean crypto market in his attempts to defraud investors by promising to purchase XRP tokens at lower than market rates. While he also sought additional time to escape from justice, the pressing judge stressed the severity of his actions and his neglect of legal consequences.
