British automaker Aston Martin is set to revolutionize the luxury SUV market, with the release of the new-generation DBX707 in 2025.
This four-wheeler, which first gained prominence in 2020, has significantly boosted the carmaker’s sales.
The company plans to align the design of the new DBX707 with its latest models, and discontinue the vehicle’s base trim. Here’s everything we know.
DBX707 interior: A blend of classic and modern design
The interior of the DBX707 is undergoing a significant redesign, taking inspiration from the DB12 and Vantage models.
The dashboard has a horizontal design line that neatly separates the infotainment system, from the instrument panel and center console.
Unlike many modern luxury vehicles, the DBX707 retains an array of buttons and switches for controlling various features.
Advanced tech and trim specifications
The DBX707 will feature a new steering wheel, with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster behind it.
A centrally located 10.25-inch screen packed with Aston’s next-generation infotainment software, will offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The updated model will be available in three trim options: Inspire Sport, Inspire Comfort, as well as bespoke Q creations.
Enhanced audio experience and exterior updates
The DBX707 comes standard with a 14-speaker, 800W sound system, but buyers can upgrade to a 23-speaker, 1,600W Bowers & Wilkins audio setup.
The exterior remains largely unchanged, but features new power-outward door handles and flush glass side mirrors.
Aston Martin has also introduced five new shades: Epsilon Black, Malachite Green, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, and Aura Green.
Power and performance
The DBX707 is powered by Aston Martin’s twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 697hp and 900Nm of torque.
The power is transmitted to the all-wheel-drive system via a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic gearbox, which can direct all torque to the rear rims.
The electronic dampers and air suspension have been recalibrated for improved handling.
Impressive speed and stopping power
The DBX707 boasts impressive performance stats, accelerating from 0-97km/h in just 3.1 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 311km/h, according to Aston Martin.
The SUV’s stopping power is provided by 16.5-inch front and 15.4-inch rear carbon ceramic brakes, tucked behind standard 22-inch rims, with optional 23-inch alloy wheels also available.
