A beautifully preserved Frank Lloyd Wright home in Michigan is now within reach. The Eppstein House, as it’s known, dates to 1953 and is located in a tiny city called Galesburg, roughly a two-hour drive from Detroit. Asking $2.1 million, the Usonian-style residence follows a series of Wright-designed properties to hit the market in recent months, among them the only homes he crafted in Florida (the Lewis Spring House) and Tennessee (the Seamour and Gerte Shavin House).
Over in New Jersey, another midcentury landmark is making waves—literally. Dubbed the Wave House, the 1960 residence by architect Jules Gregory is topped with an undulating roofline that gives it its moniker. Built in 1953, towards the end of Frank Lloyd Wright’s career, the Eppstein House in rural Michigan embodies the influential architect’s Usonian era, when his style featured horizontal lines, interlocking concrete blocks, and indoor-outdoor layouts. Meticulously preserved, the 2,500-square-foot home sits on a two-acre plot and comes with five bedrooms as well as Wright signatures like built-in furnishings and distinctive red concrete floors. It’s listed for $2.1 million with Signature Sotheby’s International Realty.
New Jersey’s Famous Wave House

A sculptural residence in central New Jersey just hit the market for $2.6 million with Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s International Realty. Known as the Wave House due to its undulating crown, the four-bedroom residence is the former home of modernist architect Jules Gregory, the mastermind behind the design. Built in 1960, the 1,700-square-foot home comes with four bedrooms and was crafted out of fieldstone sourced from the property as well as fir and pine from the Pacific Northwest. The current owners have spent $1.2 million on renovations since 2015, including transforming Gregory’s studio into a two-bedroom guest cottage. The ten-acre property also includes a bluestone patio and manicured gardens.
Rupert Murdoch’s Former Aspen Retreat

Long before Rupert Murdoch paid $200 million for a sprawling Montana cattle ranch in 2021, he owned a Colorado mountain house where he would hold annual business meetings and entertain fellow media tycoons. Murdoch acquired the 11,500-square-foot mansion in the early 1980s, around the time he was building News Corp into one of the world’s largest newspaper publishers. He reportedly paid $3 million for the winter retreat, which is located in Aspen.
In 1995, he listed the two-acre compound for $5 million. There was no indication that Murdoch had any problems with the estate. “He’s just not spending much time there,” reported Deseret News. The property has traded hands at least twice since then, according to records from Zillow. Now, following a comprehensive renovation, the estate has returned to the market, asking just under $30 million.
Jay Manuel Lowers Price on Connecticut Home

Back in June, former America’s Next Top Model judge Jay Manuel listed his custom-built Connecticut home, where he’s lived for 15 years. “Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it,” he wrote on Instagram. “But sometimes the next chapter only begins when you’re willing to turn the page.” At the time, he was asking nearly $5 million for the Bauhaus-style residence, which contains five bedrooms across 7,900 square feet and features a striking white facade of stepped curves and square volumes. Now, Manuel has swapped brokerages (to Compass agent Jennifer Leahy) and lowered the price to $4.65 million. Rounding out the 2.75-acre property are formal gardens, a heated saltwater pool, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, and a detached fitness studio.
Georgia O’Keeffe’s Neighboring Estate

Legendary American painter Georgia O’Keeffe spent the final years of her life in New Mexico, residing primarily on a 20-acre Santa Fe property she called Sol y Sombra (though she maintained two other properties—Abiquiú and Ghost Ranch—elsewhere in the state). One of O’Keeffe’s closest confidants lived next door, on a nearly eight-acre estate with sweeping desert mountain vistas. Now, that adobe home, which was owned by Juan Hamilton, just hit the market for the first time in 20 years. Listed for $13.75 million with Grace Elliott of Sotheby’s International Realty—Santa Fe, the property comes with a three-bedroom main residence, guest casita, pool house, tennis court, and an outdoor kitchen.
